New York Times Book Review illustration     

Just one month before the 2012 presidential election, the September 30th edition of the New York Times Book Review was dedicated to all things political. I was asked to make an illustration for the book Where They Stand, by Robert W. Merry. The book is focused both on ranking the U.S. Presidents and on graciously poking fun at the notion that they even can be truly ranked. The result ? A roulette spinner with categories like "The Greatest", "Lost Their Luster" and "The Random Haze", plus a slew of campaign pins.
